day 8: Someday

day 7: Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence

Firstly, there are two different versions of this song. The original was a piano piece written by Sakamoto Ryuichi for a movie of the same name. The second is a sample of the original piece, with added lyrics, found on Utada Hikaru's latest English album, This Is The One. My inspiration for this came from the latter, though I really love the original as well.

day 6: 10x10

Sort of a more elaborate version of a sketch I drew in Vvires' book a while ago.

Day 6 is 10x10 by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Very cool song. Sort of my first inspiration for Aventine.

day 5: 5iVE STAR

Day 5 ... The song is 5iVE STAR by capsule, a Shibuya-kei Japanese group. Cute song.

This is Zhuo and JiuChi, Vvires' and my character, respectively. What is grammar. Basically, Zhuo takes advantage of JiuChi at every opportunity.

The text is JiuChi saying"傻豬!" (shǎ zhū / silly pig!) to which Zhuo responds, "哥哥,愛你!" (gēgē, ài nǐ!<3 / big bro, love you!)

day 4: Cheated Hearts

Day 4, sorry it's so late haha. Had a lot of trouble this weekend; I was ridiculously busy and had no motivation to scan or paint this orz

Anyway, the song is Cheated Hearts by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Beautiful, beautiful song. It's really inspiring.

day 3: 뷹은 노을 sunset glow

Day 3, a few hours late, but I figure it still counts because I'm awake haha!

I'm pretty happy with this one... The song was 뷹은 노을SUNSET GLOW by BIG BANG. They're pretty cool, and it's a really upbeat song, so I was glad to do something really fun.
